Happy New Year! Our 2009 year of weddings was just wonderful! We met so many great couples and wish them all the best in the years to come! We look forward to meeting many more of you in 2010! Alcyone is “sleeping” for January as she undergoes some painting, washing, cleaning and general sprucing up. A friend of ours, Don Ganas, went to Alcyone early one morning and captured these photographs. They were so amazing, that we thought that we would share them! As he says……these shots were taken with a infrared camera. Infrared offers everyday scenery from a different perspective. He said that things that absorb that spectrum of light; grass foliage and plants, will come out as a bright or dull white, depending on the amount of sunlight hitting them. Those things that reflect the infrared spectrum; sky, water, paved roads and driveways, will come out much darker. Interesting and a little “ole timey” lookin’……..
